WHAT TO DO ?
Yilan Castle, also known as Sahmeran Castle, is definitely worth a visit for its church and cistern, as are the clock tower, built in 1881, and the 391 meter long Taskopru (Stone Bridge) in the city centre. Other must sees are St. Paul's Church, built between 1880 and 1890, and Feke Castle, believed to have been built by the Byzantines in the 12th century.
