TRANSPORTATION

- Frankfurt Airport (FRA), the third largest in Europe, provides routes all over the world. You can get to the city centre from the airport in 15 minutes by rail, on the S8 or S9 line. The fare is 3.70 Euro.
- Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN) is 130 km to the city centre and it takes 2 hours from the bus station to the airport.
- All major cities in Germany can be reached in less than 4 hours by ICE fast trains. It takes 1 hour 15 minutes to Koln, 3 hours to Munich, 3 hours to Hamburg, Berlin, Brussels and Paris, and 4 hours to Amsterdam.
- Many large Eastern and Western European countries has bus service to Frankfurt's airport and train station. The bus companies use these locations as intermediate stations.
- Cycling is another handy mode of transport in Frankfurt as Frankfurt Main is a station on the bicycle lane network.
- In the absence of a car, rail is an easy transport option.
