TRANSPORTATION
- Gardermoen Airport is 50 km from Oslo. The express train take you downtown in 20 minutes. Tickets are around 100 krone.
- Taxis are very expensive in Oslo. It is far better to use public transport. It costs around 800 krone (100 Euro) from the airport to the city centre.
- You can also take the ferry in Oslo. To get to the islands in the fjords, you should take the ferry at Vippentagen.
- A one-hour fair is 30 krone for trams, buses or metro. A day pass is 55 krone.
- The best way to get around the city is on foot.
