TRANSPORTATION

- It takes 40 minutes from the airport to the city centre by taxi and costs around 475 SEK.
- Buses depart every 10-15 minutes from teh airport, and it takes 50 minutes to the city centre. The fair is 220 SEK.
- It is easy to access anywhere in town by metro and bus. Citywide travel cards cost 100 SEK for 24 hours, 200 SEK for 72 hours or 260 SEK for 7 days.
- You can buy a scainrail ticket before going to Scandinavian countries for cheaper travel.

WHAT TO DO ?

There are countless museums in Stockholm, one of the most impressive cities Scandinavia. The city is built on 14 islands interconnected by bridges, and summer nights are very longa and vibrant.

Stockholm can be a pleasant weekend getaway especially in the summer. The streets of Drottninggatan and Biblioteksgatan are gold mines for shoppers.

At the Aquaria Water Museum you can see piranha, sharks, colorful frogs, as well as leaping salmon. The aquarium's entrance is under a waterfall. 

You can also visit the magnificent Stockholm's Palacei one of the largest in Europe with 600 rooms, and catch a glimpse of the Treasure Chamber at the nearby Museums of Antiques. The highlights of the city have got to be the Museum of the Mediterranean, the metro stations adorned with the works of more than 150 artists, Gamla Stan (Old Town), and the National Museum.
